Dean of Students Leadership Award Nomination

Eligibility/Qualifications & Nomination Rules

Welcome to the Dean of Students Leadership Award (DLA) application! This award is an excellent opportunity to recognize student leadership and service (on both the undergraduate & graduate levels) to the UTSA campus and surrounding communities. 

To be considered for this award, nominees must meet the criteria below. The selection committee screens for these details, so you as a nominator don't have to.
  • Be currently enrolled at UTSA
  • Have a UTSA GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Be in good academic, financial and disciplinary standing with the university
  • Be nominated by either another UTSA student or a UTSA faculty/staff member
Completed nominations are due on the 15th of each month by 11:59pm. 

*Note - no self-nominations will be accepted or reviewed. Any nominations submitted after the due date will be considered the month following the original nomination.
